My name is Yvonne Macias and I am from Orange County, California.

I am a graduate of Cal State University Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Apparel Design and Development.

 

I have 5+ years of experience working in Design specifically in swimwear and activewear sector and 1 year experience working in Product Development in ready to wear. I am currently working as a Product Development Assistant at Miaou in Los Angeles. I'm also a small business owner of a Reworked Clothing brand, Otra Vez Remade, established in 2017. Some of my experiences include creating CAD sketches, researching trends, assisting in fittings, creating and recoloring prints, collaborating with others, setting up tech packs, sourcing fabrics trims and materials, communicating and following up with overseas vendors, requesting strike off's and lab dips and much more. 

 

I have a solid record in organizational skills, working well with others and independently, managing a wide range of tasks, time management, understanding brand identity and interpreting trends in a practical and innovative way.

 

I've had the opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of areas involved in the fashion industry including design, product development, production, e-commerce, marketing, accounting, sustainability, buying, sewing, modeling and photography. 

 

I'm a continuously learning jack of all trades and look forward to expanding my knowledge and experiences in the Fashion Industry.
