Objective

Experience
Design/Development Assistant Bay Design Group January 2023 – Present
· Collaborate and take direction from Design Director to develop cohesive collections
· Assist in management of product development from concept to production
· Manage creation of photoshoot line with in-house sample room in a timely manner
· Source new fabrics and trims with off-shore vendors
· Communicate approvals for trims, fabric, lab dips, prints and branding
· Collaborate with fit specialists in fittings to achieve the best fit and construction
· Work with cross-functional teams in development, graphic design, tech design & merchandising
· Conduct trend and market research to establish key concepts for upcoming seasons
· Create and edit CAD sketches on Adobe Illustrator update line plan accordingly
Product Development Assistant Miaou January 2022 – January 2023
· Assist designer in all aspects of development
· Follow up with factories on all sourcing, proto and sample requests
· Send out strike off and lab dip requests
· Create CAD sketches on Illustrator and update line plan accordingly
· File and organize all lab dips, strike offs, trims and samples
· Log in and organize all proto samples and SMS samples
· Set up tech packs with specifications for first proto requests
· Receive bulk submits and PP samples and communicate approvals to vendors
· Assist in sourcing new fabrics and trims from vendors
· Track all incoming and outgoing shipments to and from vendors
· Create SKU’s for each season and enter into PLM system\

Associate Designer Raj Swim January 2015 – November 2021
· Generate and update original CAD flat sketches on Adobe Illustrator
· Research latest trends in Ready to wear, swimwear, trims, prints, fabrics
· Source and request fabric and trim samples from local and overseas vendors
· Develop lines sheets with accurate information and maintain them up to date
· Collaborate with the Design Director to cultivate a cohesive design concept with color stories, fabrics, trims
· Pitch Pantone colors for artwork and prepare lab dip approvals forms for digital printing send outs
· Edit and recolor artwork using Adobe Photoshop to present different color way options
· Create original artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for use in textile prints
· Create and update tech packs in a timely and accurate manner
· Prep and oversee fittings and implement fit comments to convey the intended design of each garment

· Write PO’s for development sample orders of yardages and trims using Full Circle Software SysteM
